Our mission

At Madaway Tours our goal is simple: to change the way people perceive Madagascar, showcasing the island's natural beauty and culture while upholding principles of sustainability. We want every journey to have a positive impact, just as the people of Madagascar do so well with their incredible art of recycling and reuse.

We believe that, as actors of responsible tourism, we must also reinvent the way we communicate. We commit to being more ethical, inclusive and transparent in everything we do, avoiding greenwashing and defending an authentic approach.

Diversity, equity, integration

We champion diversity, equity and cultural integration, honouring local traditions and respecting communities. We promote ethical, safe experiences and make sure our actions never harm residents or the environment. We reject all forms of neocolonialism and ensure local communities are represented respectfully and value-fully.

Tourism as a driver of change

We believe tourism can create a real sense of belonging and respect. Our partnerships with local villagers are a celebration of diverse perspectives and know-how.

Digital ethics

We commit to strict ethics in digital marketing and to protecting our clients' privacy. We will never sell or misuse their data, and we reject digital content and advertising that do not respect our values.
