Cap St-Sébastien Dive Cruise — 8 days

Embarkation after lunch and a long overnight sail to Cap St-Sébastien, 70 miles away. Dinner and night on board.

Berth at Cap St-Sébastien; dives planned by tides and currents. Mbamonetsimany takes you to the cliff base — amberjacks, tuna, unicornfish, occasional sharks, groupers — then the Yang-Tse rocks between two islands, stunning corals.

Dives around the Ambasavaka cliffs: sharks, groupers and many species. Sail to the Lakandava islands, 20 miles north; afternoon dive on a 15-metre wall.

Dive on the Lakandava shoal — 800 m long, 20 m deep, soft corals and clouds of fish. In the afternoon, north to Nosy Hao: a dive in the channel between island and reef, giant pelagics, napoleons, sharks.

Dive north of Nosy Hao, offshore of the reef, then south to Lakandava for Lion Shoal: striking schools of wahoo, fusiliers, jacks and hard corals.

South past Cap St-Sébastien: a dive at the Kalomisamba cliff, two rocks joined by a cave — sharks, turtles, giant trevally. In the afternoon, a dive on the Mananono reef.

Early departure for the Petit Castor shoal, 35 miles off the Mitsio: a superb offshore dive. Then the Four Brothers monoliths — fish schools in their tens of thousands, groupers, jacks, turtles.

Back to Nosy Be or Sakatia island, disembarkation and transfer to your hotel.
