An itinerary few agencies know how to operate: the SAVA coast, reached on demanding tracks, rewards with endless coconut groves, authentic villages and the ever-present scent of vanilla being cured.
Between Vohemar and Antalaha you will cross the Daraina reserve — sanctuary of the golden-crowned sifaka, found nowhere else — and the mysterious Green Lake of Andranotsara.
